    总干事向您们，并通过您们向郭寿康教授的家人以及整个中国知识产权界表达他的哀悼和慰问。

    郭寿康教授在上世纪八十年代作为中国第一个学术代表访问了WIPO，并且成为建立WIPO与中国人民大学合作的先驱人物。作为组建中国知识产权系统和在国际层面发展学术合作的先锋，郭寿康教授的贡献将被永远铭记。

Condolence

    Dear Professor Chen Yulu and Professor Liu Chuntian,
 
    It is with great sorrow that we learnt the sad news that Professor Guo Shoukang’s passed away. Please accept our deepest condolence!!
 
    The Director General conveys to you, and through you, to the family of Professor Guo Shoukang as well as the entire Chinese IP community, his condolence and sympathy.
 
    As the first Chinese academia, Professor Guo Shoukang visited WIPO in the 1980s of last contrary, and was the pioneer in establishing the cooperation between WIPO and the Renmin University.  His contribution, as academia pioneers in building-up of the Chinese IP system, as well as in developing academic cooperation at international level will always be remembered.
